In this module, we will discuss lower GI bleeding, its variable presentation and its numerous causes. You will learn a comprehensive diagnostic approach to lower GI bleeding, including what questions to ask on history, what examinations to perform, and what additional tests to order. You will also learn a variety of common and uncommon causes including diverticulosis, angiodysplasia, ischemic colitis, and life threatening causes of lower GI bleeding and how to manage them appropriately.
